JANE E. RUTH is a retired nurse
who worked for forty-seven years in the medical
field. She has lived in the Boquete area in Panamà for ten years As Secretary / Treasurer
of Cleft of the Rock Ministries, Jane works with
the Ngäbe people, mainly on the comarca.
Jane noticed that the Ngäbe had few books for
children, and the older Ngäbe people often expressed the desire to retain their language. She published a concept book CHALINA LA CERDITA CUENTA HASTA DIEZ EN NGÄBERE, in 2021.
Jane likes to write, paint, do crafts and attend her fourteen gardens.
BELLA AND CHANTEY: MAMA WANTS A BLUE MUSHROOM is her first picture book in 2022, which also involves Ngäbe Comarca.
