Leamon Scott

Leamon E. Scott grew up in the Watts community of South-Central Los Angeles during the fifties and sixties. Reading, writing and music became viable outlets in a neighborhood plagued with many social ills and inequalities. Graduating from California State University Dominquez Hills with a BA in 1974, Leamon would earn a Human Services Master’s degree in 2016. He worked in the Social Services field over 35-years for Los Angeles and Riverside Counties, and retired in 2007.
