Charles Welde is a humor writer who has been making people laugh since grade school. He first got noticed for his humor when he wrote a rather crass short story in sixth grade about a promiscuous squirrel who fell in love with one of his classmates. As a result, Charles was invited to spend the day with the writers of the hit show “Roseanne”. He’s wanted to be a comedy writer ever since.
After he graduated from the University of Oklahoma, Charles started working as a Production Assistant in Hollywood. During that time he optioned two movie scripts. Over the years Charles has been a ghost writer for stand-up comics, published in numerous magazines, and read every book on comedy he could get his hands on. In 2018 Charles started his YouTube channel, Bixbie Media, to showcase some of his comedy in the form of sketches and commercial parodies. Charles’ first book Sex, Lies, & High School Principals was launched in July of 2023
