Elizabeth Mostyn is a scientist, novelist, and phenomenologist who lives in the Highlands of Scotland, surrounded by books. She loves dogs and plays the clarinet. She was a researcher and clinical worker with people with dementia for over 30 years, and holds both a science degree from the University of St Andrews, and a master's degree from the University of Aberdeen. She has published 3 novels, including 2 instalments of The Phenomenological Detective - 'The Only True Remedy' and 'The Heights of Abraham'. She is also working on a Native American trilogy, and another standalone novel.
