Misty was bitten by the writing bug when she won a contest in 4th grade with an essay about her awesome dad. Today, she's a USA TODAY bestselling author of award-winning romantic suspense, paranormal romance, and urban fantasy. She also writes paranormal cozy mysteries under the pen name Nyx Halliwell.
When not writing (which is pretty much never!), she reads, crafts, and hangs out with her husband, twin sons, and three spoiled puppies. She loves making bracelets, candles, and soap.
