Raymond Patrick was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio, as Raymond Patrick Kremer—but these days he’s more likely to be found aboard his catamaran somewhere in the Caribbean, where he lives, dives, sails, and occasionally remembers to open his laptop. A former software engineer by trade and a tequila-fueled storyteller by inclination, he’s embraced a life less ordinary and is doing his best to write it all down as sun, rum, and saltwater conspire to blur the finer details.
His storytelling style falls somewhere between a sailor holding court at a beach bar and a confession you’re not entirely sure you were supposed to hear—just outrageous enough to maybe be true, delivered by a narrator who may or may not be sober, and definitely isn’t apologizing.
Raymond is currently working on a Caribbean-set novel series loosely inspired by his own adventures afloat, where happy hours last too long, storms arrive uninvited, and the line between fact and fiction drifts with the tide.
