Jerry Fedora, a pen name for an author whose diverse and fascinating military background shapes his storytelling, embarked on a path of adventure and service before discovering his passion for writing. A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and a former 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Marine Corps, Jerry spent 13 years as an infantry officer, during which he held the highest pistol and rifle scores in his battalion. His military career took him around the world, exposing him to a multitude of cultures and experiences. One of his cherished memories includes a Thanksgiving dinner in Okinawa with a Japanese Army officer, where spaghetti was served with forks and knives for the special occasion.

An avid learner, Jerry’s interests span military history, general history, philosophy, and politics, with a particular fondness for Ancient Rome. His extensive personal library, boasting over 3,000 volumes, reflects his voracious appetite for knowledge. Music also plays a significant role in his life, with an eclectic iTunes playlist featuring artists ranging from Madonna to Glenn Miller, Blue Oyster Cult, and Wagner.

Residing in Texas with his long-suffering wife, Jerry sports a distinctive mustache and believes wholeheartedly in the adage that Scotch whisky is indeed the water of life.
