Mageright Academy and Fallsview Finishing School are hosting a summer camp, and I need to go. It’s my last resort. The best teachers will be there for both mages and sorcerers.

If they can’t help me with my magic, it’s a lost cause.

As a sorcerer, I’ve never been to a magic school or camp. Sorcerers go to the human school until college and then only the best go on to Fallsview Finishing School. There’s no way I’ll ever get in there, but it would be nice if I could do some of the basic spells. Even tying my shoes with magic is hard and half the time I screw that up.

At this point I barely ever use magic. The kids at the orphanage make fun of me when they see how abysmal my magic is.

When I get a letter accepting me to the camp, I can’t believe it, but my first week doesn’t go well. and when I see a column of dark magic attacking kids in the dorm, the headmaster labels me a troublemaker even though I didn’t do anything wrong. When kids start falling into comas without explanation, some try to blame me.

Me.

The girl with the least magic in the camp. And when I find out who’s really behind it, no one belives me.

Now that dark magic is after me.

When the dark magic puts my friend in a coma, I have a choice to make. Stop the magic myself and possibly end up like my friend, or leave the camp and go back to the orphanage where I know I’ll be safe.
