“Friendship City: Hanging by a Thread by Carl H. Mitchell is a futuristic novel that takes place in the year 2058. The book is about a NYPD detective, Nick Garvey, who along with the U.S President, are taking on the job of a lifetime when they battle a plague that is looking to take over the population, as well as the World Council leader who is trying to destroy Friendship City. This is the second book of this series and a great one at that. I could really see some of the plots potentially happening, which is rather frightening, but kept my interest high throughout.
